Personal Reflection (NEwater visit)

1a)We have to work hard to create something innovative yet important for Singapore's survival.

b) We can make use of different components to make a whole system useful and efficient.

c) We need to take risks to succeed.

2) I learnt about the IPU concept and the NEWater concept.

1 Why is communication important?

Communication allows us to complete our tasks efficiently.

2 What is/are your favourite form/s of communication? Why?

My favorite forms of communications are calling and SMS. Calling allows us to have the nearest form of communication closest to face-to-face communication.SMS is closest to writing notes.

3 How do you decide which form of communication to use in a situation?

I try to use the best form of communication that my friend is comfortable with.

4 What difficulties do you face in communicating with others?

We have to overcome the language obstacle before being able to communicate efficiently.

Expanding our networks means that i should meet more people and make more friends to have more contacts. When i have more contacts, i will be able to get more people to help me research, create and buy this product.

Forging excellence to me is that we, as students, have to achieve excellence only by empowering ourselves .I think i have the perseverance and the will to help me to achieve excellence. I should be more hardworking then i can be able to achieve excellence. When doing group work, i could be a typist to type down the summarization of my group’s or a thinker to think of ideas.

I feel very excited and afraid when i was working in a team on the bridge building project.I was afraid as i do not know these people.The members of my team are very friendly and i forgot all my fears. I learnt that i do not respect others and i must try to have respect for my group mates so that we can get the best performance possible.I overcame my fears as my group mates are very friendly.

The day the letter from SST arrived,i knew it was regarding my DSA results.My heart pumped with adrenaline as i opened the letter. My eyes widened as i realised that i had been chosen as the pioneer batch to enter SST.
